Because all protein comes from plants

On a mission to revolutionise mealtimes by making it easier for everyone to enjoy healthy, delicious plant based eating anytime, anywhere.

Seems pretty obvious when you stop and think about it but plants aren’t usually the first thing you look for when you’re hunting for a protein fix.

Our new national campaign ‘Because all protein comes from plants’ is here to champion the role plants can play in a flexitarian diet and debunk the myth that you can’t get enough protein from plants.

So let’s talk protein.

Protein is big right now. An essential part of our diets, it’s moved beyond the go to for gym lovers as more and more people are looking for delicious, healthy ways to up their protein intake.

Yet only 10% of the protein consumed in the UK comes from fruit, veg, nuts and seeds, whilst 40% comes from meat. That's right, only a tenth of our national consumption is plant based, which is mad when you think that all protein originally comes from plants.

Here at BOL, we’ve been championing the brilliance of plant based diets for years and I’m extremely proud to say that over the past 6 years, we’ve made 40 million portions of veg.

Since we’re aiming to hit the 75 million mark within the next two years, we need to make even more delicious, plant based meals.

Which is why our Power Full new range of meals, snacks and shakes are packed full of plant powered protein.

Fuelled by all the good stuff plants bring, we’re making it even easier to enjoy healthy, delicious plant based eating anytime, anywhere.

Our new range includes our rather excellent Posh Noodles, hearty Power Soups, protein fuelled Power Pots, ground breaking Power Shakes and Spicy Buffalo Cauli Wings.

Powered by plants, made by BOL and full of plant powered protein, these 14 new, delicious products are hitting the shelves of Tesco and Sainsbury’s as you read this.

Designed to appeal to everyone, from the most passionate vegan to the person who just fancies a deliciously healthy meat free meal, we couldn’t be more excited for you to try them.

It’s absolutely amazing to see all these ideas become a reality and we hope you love them as much as we all do.

Be sure to let us know what you think.

Eat plants, love life.

Paul
