We've got NEWS (nine, to be precise)

We like to keep things fresh.

This means that everything from our plant powered ingredients, to our product innovations are constantly chopped, changed, stirred, and shaken to make BOL the best it can be. Our mission is to inspire the world to eat more plants, and great tasting food is just the beginning. We want to make plant-based eating deliciously easy and provide pots, bottles and jars crammed to the lid with natural nourishment.

Back in June 2021, we launched 14 new products. Including some perfectly posh noodles; super-boosting power soups and our ground-breaking Power Shakes. But the hard work never stops. Since then, we’ve continued developing the ranges, experimenting with new flavours and dreaming BIG for all things BOL. And it’s finally time to reveal what we’ve been working on. We’d like you to meet the newest recruits to team BOL…

It’s time to dig out your chopsticks and get stuck in to two new flavours. 

  

Spicy firecracker udon
Insert flame emoji… This recipe really brings the heat through our special firecracker sauce: an artful blend of garlic, chilli, soy and ginger. In every mouthful, enjoy the vibrancy of Japanese cuisine with paprika spiced black beans, crisp bamboo shoots and a mix of refreshing leafy greens. Best served with a side of ice-cold water.

Japanese yakisoba
It’s street food, with a superfood twist. All the fragrant flavours of Japanese food stalls, captured in one posh pot. Indulge yourself with the sweet, tangy tastes of our Yakisoba style dish. Turmeric noodles meet gingery sweet potato and satiating black beans, finished off with a scattering of sweet, juicy corn and dark leafy greens. It’s street food turned superfood: packing healthy plant protein, fibre and heaps of hidden veg. Got your boarding pass ready?

IMMUNE BOOSTING Roasted Butternut Squash & Chilli
This is a winter warmer with all the colour of summer: a silky blend of butternut, carrot, mango and turmeric, creamy coconut and a surprising chilli kick. It’s a plant-based twist on a classic combination, supercharged with vitamins and the best flavours mother nature has to offer. A full bowl equates to 4 of your 5-a-day, a heap of fibre and plant protein. It’s the ultimate meal deal. 

ENERGY BOOSTING Thai Red Coconut & Lentil
Authentic Thai dishes are only ever a 12-hour flight away. But for those of us who aren’t able to hop on a plane, our plant-based experts have captured all the traditional tastes (and none of the travel time) into one, trendy 600-gram jar. Plus, a whole lot of natural nourishment. Bring some colour to your table with the fragrant flavours of Thai Lime Leaf, lemongrass, and Thai basil; a generous squeeze of lime and an indulgent swirl of coconut cream to finish. It’s a real boost of East Asian energy, with 2 of your 5-a-day per serve and a healthy hit of plant-based protein. We’re confident it can brighten even the greyest of UK days.

Italian Roasted Tomato Pasta 
Rich tomato sauce, slow roasted vegetables, sweet garlic and a sharp, herby tang: you can’t beat it. Well actually, we think we can. Introducing our latest edition to the Veg Pot famiglia. Take a trip to Venice and back before lunchtime’s over and tick off 2 of your 5-a-day, 7 grams of fibre and 10 grams of protein. Designed to eat hot or cold: ideal for spontaneous summer picnics and cosy winter evenings - buon appetito.

Sweet potato katsu curry
Formerly known as Power Pots, you’d be wrong to thing these are any less powerful. Close your eyes and taste the familiar flavour of a Japanese classic - that oh so heavenly balance of sweet and savoury; spicy and creamy. Only this time, it’s nutritionally complete, high in fibre and packed to the lid with plant powered goodness. Think of it as your satiating solution to cravings and hunger - all in one pot. Hearty sweet potato, rice and fibre-filled beans, coated in an aromatic coconut-ty katsu sauce with the gentle hum of garlic and ginger.

Chickpea Masala
We've perfected a blend of traditional masala spices to transport your tastebuds somewhere special. In minutes, you can serve up the beautiful scents of Northern India; filling your kitchen with fragrant ginger, chilli, fennel and cardamom. Whatever your culinary skillset, conjure up a real feast with authentic onion bhajis, pilau rice and a show stopping sauce. All the indulgence of fine dining, with a plant powered twist (and none of the washing up.) Plate up your masterpiece and add a sprinkle of sliced chilli for that 5 star finish. You’re well on your way to head chef status.

Butternut Thai Curry
Tucking into this curry is a true taste of Thailand. We've combined chargrilled chickpeas, black turtle beans, carrot and butternut squash with a fragrant Panang sauce and added a fresh crunch of Tenderstem® broccoli. Our plant-based experts have done the hard work for you, just add a squeeze of lime and a peppering of toasted cashews. All that’s left to do is close your eyes, smell the citrus and ginger and listen to the honk of distant tuk tuks.

Cauliflower Tikka 
Since it’s advent over fifty years ago, tikka masala has become such a firm British favourite there have been calls in parliament to honour it as a national dish. We’re big fans too, but in true BOL fashion our version features fire roasted cauliflower, a sublimely creamy daal and a bed of our signature turmeric infused grains. Feeling fancy? Dice up fresh coriander and scatter a handful of chilli for some real Indian zing.

So, there you have it: all the BOL newness hitting shelves across the UK this November. From creamy curry’s and spicy noodles to winter warming soups… Whatever you need, there’s a BOL full of it. But don’t think we’re stopping there. 2022 is just around the corner and we’ve got lots more to come.
