Plant-Powering London Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2019

It’s that time of year once again. Models are about to hit the catwalk; designers & make-up artists are adding the finishing touches to their creations and London Fashion Week AW19 is about to land. BOL will be there as part of the line-up keeping the people behind Fashion Week fuelled. Located at The BFC Show Space at the Strand, this year’s event will host more than 50 British and International collections across the five-day fashion event. Team BOL are stepping in as the Official #FrontRow Food Partner to plant-power one of the most innovative and creative fashion showcases in the world. So, as fashion chaos begins to descend on the vibrant city of London, know that we’ve got you covered. We’ve pulled together five things to look out for across the five days of London Fashion Week AW19:

BOL Salad Jars

No time to think about food while running between shows? BOL Salad Jars are the ultimate convenience for tasty, healthy food while you’re on the move. Inspired by a foodie safari to California, we reckon we’ve crafted the best salads this side of the pond. We’ll be in exclusive backstage areas at the BFC Show Space to plant-power the people behind the event. So, whether you’re on the front row or applying make-up to the models, you can grab a BOL and enjoy. BOL appétit!

New Talent

We’re buzzing to catch the new talent that goes down the catwalk. Every year, people in the industry are looking out for the next big thing from what can be named as one of London’s most respected fashions schools, Central Saint Martins, which will bring its talent to the runway on the 15th February. Expect cutting-edge graduate designs and runaway debuts. We’re ready for you.

Regulars

Fashion Week wouldn’t be Fashion Week without the big shots, and the London event never fails to impress. Showcasing some of the biggest names in fashion, this year will see the likes of Adidas, Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood hit the runway. So, dress to impress and prepare to see exciting new collections from familiar names in the fashion industry.

Street Style

As the rush of the week goes by, make sure to take some time to enjoy the art of people-watching. Through the buzz of the crowd, look out for magazine editors, a unique blend of designers and the increasingly out-there style of forward-thinking fashion bloggers. Not only can you get outfit inspo from the people you see in the crowd and on the runway, but you can indulge in collections of women’s ready-to-wear, jewellery and accessories at the Fashion Week Festival pop-up stores.

Positive Fashion

Look out for The British Fashion Council’s Positive Fashion initiative, a platform designed to celebrate industry best practice and encourage future business decisions to create positive change. The initiative focuses on sustainability by taking on social and environmental governance to drive a more sustainable future in the industry. It also champions equality and diversity through the talent that is involved in everything they do, as well as celebrating the community that it works in, from designers to manufacturers.

If previous years have taught us anything, it’s clear that London Fashion Week is going to be full of surprises. We can’t wait to see what progress is being made in sustainable innovation in fashion and will be keeping our eyes peeled for the next big thing. However, we’ll leave the fashion to the experts and focus on what we know best by plant-powering the people behind London Fashion Week and beyond. Eat plants, love life.
